Being uniquely situated on the Noordhoek Cape Peninsula on South Africa's Atlantic coast, Cape Point Vineyards are perfectly positioned to get the most of the hot sun, cooling ocean breeze and wind exposure required to produce truly world class maritime wines. Cape Town Red 2020 is made from a the classic Bordeaux-blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc. A nose of soft red fruits, mulled berries, subtle pink pepper and cedar wood evolves to blackberry, cassis and notes of coffee bean and spice on the palate. It has a lingering, velvety finish with soft tannins and balanced freshness. Perfect with sharcuterie and terrines, red meats or game.
